Bauhaus
The Bauhaus Supper was conceived for our client, Openbox Studios, to celebrate the 100th year of the Bauhaus, for their City as Lab immersion program, as well as Openbox’s film “The New Bauhaus Film.” The event focused on the Bauhaus’ tenets of “work, party, play”, and aligned with the goal of bringing together art and craft by featuring local makers of multiple disciplines.
Guests enjoyed a mini workshop on the art of table-setting and were able to select their favorite ceramics and handmade napkins to set the table with.
The event kicked off with cocktails in the community garden, then moved to Boxville, a community of small businesses in a plot of shipping containers, before finishing in the courtyard of the Bronzeville Incubator. Two 20 ft canvases, made by local artist Edo, served as a runner, and group sketch.
